Shared flight fees and credits
Updated 22 October 2026
Who pays what
- Each party pays the operator its own share of the whole-aircraft price, directly.
- When Jettura arranges the share, each of the two parties pays Jettura’s flat $999 fee.
- When a traveler posts a flight they have already booked and another traveler asks to join, only the joining traveler pays the fee, on top of the price the poster asks for room for one more party.
When you pay the fee
As soon as the shared flight is available for you, without waiting for the other party. Until then nothing is owed.
If the shared flight does not go ahead
After you pay, the shared flight may still not happen: the other party does not complete checkout in time, withdraws or closes their post, or the operator does not approve the share. In that case your $999 fee is credited to you automatically, as a credit valid for 12 months. You do not need to ask, and we do not introduce you to the operator unless the shared flight is going ahead.
If one party withdraws, closes their post or does not complete checkout, the other party’s open checkout is withdrawn so that nobody pays for a flight that will not happen.
Once you have booked with the operator there is no credit. See Credits and what they cover.
